For over 15 years the firm has been collecting debts for court reporters from attorneys as well as many other types of cases. Unfortunately, many of these required a lawsuit in order to collect the debt. We have been, and always are more than willing to go one on one with anyone to serve our clients interests, whether it is against attorneys, corporations or anyone else.

We have been very successful in collecting Judgments. While many firms will get a judgment and put it in a drawer hoping that someone will sell some property sometime, we aggressively search for assets and seek to collect the judgment for our client as soon as possible.

Below you will find a sample transcript authorization that if used, will allow us to be able to collect your entire debt plus attorney fees immediately upon the breach of payment, thereby not costing you anything to use our law firm.

TRANSCRIPT AUTHORIZATION FORM

I, the undersigned, hereby execute the stipulations made as checked on the proceeding page and request that ABC REPORTERS, provide me with the following in connection with the deposition(s) taken, for which, I further agree that I personally as well as my law firm, will be responsible for all reasonable, necessary, and customary charges incurred therein. This Authorization form will be applicable to all deposition(s) and/or video(s) taken in the same case unless specified in writing to the contrary.

I understand that if an order is cancelled after the work has begun there will be a cancellation fee. If the order has been completed, then full payment will be due even if the order is cancelled.
I acknowledge that payment is due within thirty (30) days upon receipt on the deposition(s) and shall be made at ABC REPORTERS, 1234 MAIN STREET, HOUSTON, TEXAS 77002. However, I understand that if I have no prior credit arrangements with ABC REPORTERS, that the transcript(s) stated previously will be delivered on COD basis, and I agree to pay for said deposition(s) under those conditions when delivered. All amounts not paid when due shall bear interest at the rate of one and one-half (1.5%) per month (18% A.P.R.), until paid in full. If collection for this invoice is placed in the hands of an attorney, attorney fees equal to at least 30% of the total invoice price shall be due and owing. If any legal action is required, it is agreed that the venue for such shall be in Harris County, Texas.

I further understand and agree that the Court Reporter will retain an electronic version of shorthand notes and may dispose of any paper notes after transcription.
